Boho Betty
Boho Betty is built around stacking. The bracelets are designed to be worn four and five at a time, mixing rough-cut gemstone with fine chain and beaded friendship styles until the result looks like yours rather than a set somebody sold you. Betty Middleton designs the collections in the UK and her family runs the business from Wiltshire.
We wanted jewellery in the boutique doing a different job from the clothes. Something a woman could add to over time, at a price that makes adding to it straightforward, and that still holds up next to a silk dress. This was the one that did all three.
The edit here runs to the Sana rough-cut gemstone bracelets in black spinel, blue lace agate, rock crystal and pink tourmaline, the Salus and Ariene gemstone necklaces, and the Ajna chakra necklace with its vertical symbol drop. Pieces are 14k gold plate or sterling silver on brass, set with semi-precious stones and Japanese Miyuki beads.
Betty's designs draw on textiles and beadwork collected while travelling, and the brand has built a genuine charitable habit alongside them, with more than thirty thousand pounds and over 1,600 bracelets donated to causes it supports. Every piece arrives boxed on a cushion, ready to give.
Come into Westbourne Arcade and build a stack on your own wrist, which is the only reliable way to work out how many is enough.
