The length is what makes this read as a coat rather than a jacket, and it is the whole reason to buy it. Belted at the waist, falling below the knee, in a soft dry suede that creases and settles the way good suede should. Cognac is doing the heavy lifting.
Why you'll love this suede trench coat
- Real suede with a dry, matt nap that softens the more it is worn
- Notch lapels over a clean double-breasted front, no storm flap
- Self-tie belt at the waist, or leave it loose and let the coat fall straight
- Below the knee, long enough to cover a midi skirt or a dress
- Buttoned cuff tabs and welt pockets set into the side seams
- Panel seams across the body, which is how suede at this length is made to hang properly
Perfect for: autumn days, city weekends, dinners out, layering over knitwear.
We'd belt it over the cognac suede skirt and go tonal top to bottom.
